Abstract

Recently we have read with interest the work of María Triolo et al, in which it is said to make a comparison of the sensitivity of two techniques, widely used in the detection of enteroparasites in lettuce. Knowing the importance of their diagnosis in fresh fruits and vegetables, which is a cause for concern regarding food safety, we draw attention to some conceptual and methodological aspects used in the study, which we consider are not adequate and which can not be affirmed with certainty the veracity and applicability of the obtained results, same that we would like to expose.
