The internationalization of the research activity to students of ProRed Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica

Abstract

This article compiles the experiences of students group who participated in an internationalization research experience supported by the leadership of the Research Program for the Promotion of Networking (ProRed) and the Student Mobility Commission of CONARE, Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica. During this research and through a qualitative and explanatory methodological approach, an instrument was applied to the entire population that was mobilized during 2015 and 2016. A taxonomy of research competencies was proposed according to Alles (2005). As a result, a series of benefits for students are highlighted, as well as the development of specific skills

    Master of theology, Universidad Estatal a Distancia of Costa Rica (UNED-C.R.).  Researcher at UNED-C.R. and Coordinator of ProRed.  Also an  Academic Advisor for Delfín, México.  English reviewer for the journal Agora de Heterodoxias.  As a writer, her topics deal with Feminism, Theology, Social and Feminist Theology as well as the relationship of students in distance education models.

    Doctor in Communication and Peace, Universidad para la Paz (U.N.) and University of La Laguna España.  Master of International Iberoamerican Relations of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.  Currently a social communicator for the Office of Marketing and Communication at UNED-C.R.
